Stepping into the entertainment scene in 2010, I've evolved into a versatile force – not just a DJ but also an emcee and dancer. My passion drives an unparalleled energy into everything I do. Whether I'm spinning tunes or grabbing the mic, I'm all about creating an unforgettable vibe for everyone, regardless of the genre. No static moments – catch me dancing in the booth or hitting the floor to vibe with you. The Neon Cactus welcomes MMJ Efekt to the DJ roster, spinnin’ the hottest remixes and tracks on Friday nights!
An award winning open format DJ, meaning no genre is out of bounds for a club set. MMJ has been known to transition from EDM, to HipHop, Country, Rock, and Latin genres so smoothly, the flow of the night goes undisturbed! Whatever it takes to get the crowd amped and the dancing hot.
A native of Wisconsin, MMJ’s self-taught DJ career began with CD’s and Vinyl. Early hip hop DJ influences of Terminator X, MixMaster Mike, DJ Miz to today’s current DJ influences, have maintained MMJ’s evolving music knowledge and skill. There is always something new to be heard!
When not at the Neon Cactus, you can catch MMJ Efekt playing Purdue campus events, summer resident DJ at Mirage/Hard Rock Pool Las Vegas, and possibly a wedding or special event near you!
